Purpose: Task oriented job analysis for the position of Cashier of Virgin Electronics.
Nature of the job: A candidate applying for the post of a cashier must be capable of controlling cash dealings. The tasks of a cashier range from receiving and making payments, clearing bank formalities as and when required, keeping records and making statistical representations of company’s profits and losses incurred by the market values to taking monetary decisions for the firm during inflationary pressures, calculating total amounts of transactions, welcoming new clients for initiation of new transactions, maintaining healthy relationship with the old existing clients and communicating the goings on to the authorities.
Academic qualifications for the post:
- A graduation/post graduation degree in maths or commerce.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a minimum experience of 2 years in any reputed company.
- The candidate must be equipped with computer based programs.
Additional skills: Candidate with interpersonal and social skills will be preferred. A candidate is required to have good eyesight and hearing abilities as the job demands continuous gruelling work on computer screen and telephone.
